"Circle Of Life"
A male Pied Flycatcher tires in vain to stop this Weasel taking his young from their nestbox home. Nature is beautiful but also very cruel at times and this is the circle of life. Where one animals loses its life to make sure others live. hard to see and capture this images for many reasons. It happened so fast and once the weasel had gone I saw the Pied Flycatcher almost sit in saddeness for a while close by the nestbox. Once I returned the next day all the young had been taken.
